Back from Being Side-Lined

Down and out from an injury, he made a complete turn-around in 6 weeks with the help of Wendell.

__________

My son (17/18 yr. old), through his supportive Coach Brian Pardoe, was introduced to Wendell. My son was given a challenge – six weeks or less to get ready physically, mentally, and spiritually to show an out of state university what he was made of. The challenge came to my son as he was recovering from a devastating elbow injury (he is a pitcher) and after another emergency surgery that side-lined him from baseball but also from an optimal outlook on life.

My son accepted this challenge and went on a life-changing journey with Wendell, who was there for him every step of the way on a journey that has changed the trajectory of his life. Through Wendell’s approach, love, and dedication, he was able to provide my son with the training, guidance, and approach to transform him from an injured soul to a superior and formidable athlete. Through his intense schedule and teamwork with Wendell, my son changed from being a “victim” of unfortunate circumstances, which could have easily derailed him from his love of baseball, to a victorious warrior with a profound and new way of seeing himself with a laser focus on health and well-being. His total transformation includes treating his body with the respect, love, and diligence it deserves. This new outlook was learned and adopted from the teachings of Wendell.

If you think you are going to see a trainer who is going to support you for only a few weeks, you are mistaken. You will have everlasting change with Wendell. Once you work with him, he will live in your heart, mind, and soul and you will continue to apply all the techniques and practices that he taught you during your time with him. In turn, Wendell will always keep you a part of him. He is your partner, your teacher, and your guide. My son continues to see Wendell today and has continued on his journey of health and wellness. My son has learned to self-regulate, to challenge himself, and to persevere in life’s difficult challenges.
